I'm up to 127 tables and climbing.
I noticed that once I hit about 110 tables....the quality of available full screen tables starts to drop. There are some fun/playable tables, but the graphics aren't as razor sharp as some of these.
The coolness factor of Virtual Pinball that blows me away is the ease of which you can "upgrade" a table. I was playing TOTAN and thought the table wasn't that sharp. I looked up the latest vesion of it on line at VPForums and boom -- full screen HD glory. Sweet.
The machine really gives you a good feel for a real machine! I also am now playing machines I would never have access to in real life like Big Bang Bar. That's a fun game! :afro:

Got a list? haha, tall order I know. This is my list of what I will be putting on mine when done.

Virtually everything on your list is available in full HD and plays beautifully!
But I've discovered that some are not available in a full HD high res format for tables (ex Junkyard).
Here's where I started---
http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?automodule=downloads&req=search&cmd=browse&cat=23&letter=all&sort_key=f_downloads&sort_by=Z-A&pp=25 (http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?automodule=downloads&req=search&cmd=browse&cat=23&letter=all&sort_key=f_downloads&sort_by=Z-A&pp=25)
This is the most downloaded list for full cabinet tables.
I then moved onto just looking at the full list of tables (over 17 pages!). Some of the less desirable ones are missing things like playfield shots, or roms etc.
But basically - you'll be able to easily download at minimum the top 110 games as rated on IPDB.

I have been tempted time and time again to build one, but the cost of TVs for the playfield are not quite there yet. I'm still keeping my eye out for a broken LCD that I can get and repair it.
This guy was at Expo with these and let me tell you, I'm impressed with the build quality he has.
-
I did the math as many ways as I could -- but the fact is if you don't have any of these parts on hand--- you're in for over $4K no matter what you do. :dunno
The main screen he used in my machine is a commercial grade LCD- not consumer. It's designed to run longer/hotter than a standard screen. Is that worth more? For me it is, but there's no guarantee that it won't fail of course.
