Oh man what the heck am I doing piddling around with joysticks, fiberboard and ROM images -- I could be a millionaire selling hurricanes in a bag!! I could buy a whole arcade with the money I make. My first purchase? Dude, I'm getting a Pooyan!
God bless 21st Century Internet commerce! We've come a long way since bartering with teeth.

Yeah, I know man -- I made a total killing taking rocks from my backyard and passing them off as pieces of the Berlin Wall back in 89.

I saw an auction last week for a "new folder for windows xp"
It was quickly removed though.
The guy selling said something like he had no use for it anymore.

Note to self: Be sure to pick up some sandwich bags at the store tomorrow.

High bidder won't pay. You see joke auctions like that all the time. They get bid up really high, but no one ever actually pays for them. Last winter someone made a snowman in the shape of an arcade cabinet and stuck a TRON marquee on it and it got bid up to several hundred dollars. The funniest thing was the last day of the auction the seller added a new picture with a marquee to some terrible late 80s conversion game, with a note that said apparently some operator came by in the middle of the night and converted the game!
IIRC the winning bidder even left positive feedback.

I remember that one, it was hilarious. Shipping was going to be a ---smurfette--- on that one as I recall :)
