Got two CPS2 boards. Tested one and it's a SF game. Good so far. The other had a damaged A board so I swapped it with the working setup and.... nothing. Great according to the net, the damn this is dead. I figuring I can change it to a "Pheonix" board but I don't know what it was. The label was removed for some reason.
So I'm a little stumped. I pulled it apart and the ICs have SFX markings. With MAWS out, I'm stuck on resources to figure out what this board was.
I got it as part of a lot I'm hoping I can get it working.
On a side note. My A board pins are ruined. Anyone know what they are? I tried to fix it a few years ago but the so-called experts at a local shop identified it as an Apple expansion card and I couldn't find a match. :banghead:

OK, realized I was reading tags wrong. It's SFX U. According to the MAME source code, its one of the Tournaments.
I'm tired of reading through source code so I'll pick this up later.
