Has anyone tried Total Control 2 (not plus they weren't in stock so I grabbed this one off Play Asia)? I have an official wireless PS2 Dual Shock 2 controller that works perfectly nothing wrong with it or anything. I tried it on my DC with Total Control 2 and it worked great until the dang thing kept telling me there is a controller removed or memory card can't be read or something along those lines. Either that or I would have to manually switched my controller to analog mode. Whenever it did any of this I would have to turn off the DC and back on. And the biggest pain the ---my bottom--- was the console resetting itself back to the DC menu. (this only happens with this converter) .Btw there is nothing wrong with my DC it works perfectly! I wish I knew these things before purchasing lol. Could it be mine are just faulty or? I really do like these and I'd like to get them working correctly. I don't plan on sending them back because lets face it I'm sure it's a ---smurfette--- returning things over seas Please let me know guys thanks!!

I'd like to help you but mine are the Plus ones and I have never had that issue. I've used mine with a J-Pac + PS2 adapters and also with PSX pads. Can you describe the problem in more detail? What game was it, do the same amount of time pass until you get the "reconnect" message?

Thanks for replying man. I should have gone with the plus version which I still plan on doing sometime. Anywho the game I was messing with was Daytona USA original retail copy. Everything worked ok then I would get that message telling me a controller has been removed or Memory Card is being detected. I know Total Control 2 doesn't have a VMU socket. I doubt that could be the problem or they wouldn't have put it out on the market  I'm not sure about the timing I'm about to try again just for fun since I haven't messed with it in a few days. Good to hear your Plus is working. What PS2 controller do you use? I mostly got this for my wireless PS2 pad. Since there are virtually no wireless pads for the DC :(

I have the same problem with certain games on my Dreamcast setup (see this thread of a video of the issue: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=112081.0 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=112081.0)). It would be great to find out what causes this problem because I have tried everything to get rid of the issue. For me, it only seems to affect Power Stone, Virtua Tennis 1/2 and Virtua Striker 2. As I have Virtua Tennis 4 (PC), Power Stone (Naomi) working perfectly in DEMUL and SWOS being much better than VS2 I've given up trying to fix this problem now.
@emphatic, Do you have any issues with your setup and the game mentioned above? I am using 2x Total Control Plus + PS adaptors hooked up via PS/2 to a minipac which is similar to your setup I think.

Glad I'm not the only one. That's pretty much what I'm expecting. Sometimes it'll reset the console back to the bios menu. ( I really only tried Daytona USA) Maybe it's that game. I'll have to try Power Stone 1 and 2 and a few others. Thanks for replying.

I bought a finished padhack (2xPSX pads + JAMMA fingerboard) from a random forum dude so I don't know what controllers were used. But I never had any issues using my J-Pac either. I've never tried Daytona though, as I only play shmups on my DC.
Maybe if you use your original DC controller without a Memory card inserted with Daytona to troubleshoot you'll get closer to a solution? The port might have an autosave option acting funny?

I tried it last night in Gran Turismo 2 (Via Bleem) and it worked for a while then it kept resetting the game (not console this time) I think this thing is a piece of ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- thought don't quote me on that. I might be wrong.
