Post by: sparkulator on September 23, 2003, 05:29:35 am
Hi.
I have a Nanao 05A00362G1 dual res monitor 27".
B+ was too high because main reg transistor was shorted, replaced that but still a problem with Q408 smoking.
Any help would be great.

Sounds like a really serious problem. See if you can find a schematic for it, and take it to a TV repair shop.

BTW, what is 'B+'?

Thanks tom61.
I have already looked for schematic with no luck.
I'am an electronics tec and I repair alot of monitors for alot of businesses around my area,I come from the TV repair industry but the problem I have is that there is a couple of components that have died and there is no markings on them to identify the part No's.
The B+ is the main DC voltage rail that powers the chassis. It is a regulated voltage rail that is kept at a constant DC voltage eg 90v regardless of AC input voltage eg 100v to 130v.
what is BTW?.
THANKS.
