Title: Zombies
Post by: Donkbaca on January 13, 2012, 12:04:48 pm
Why they are so great:  List your 5 reasons:

1 - They are loyal, to survive as a zombie you need strength in numbers
2 - They are tough, even a swift kick to the jumk won't bring them down
3 - They are dedicated - nothing is going to stop them from hunting you down at a moderate speed
4 - They cause people to post awesome, barely coherent posts about jogging dead children
5 - They are more badass than a honey badger

1. When you call, they always seem to come.
2. Great for t-ball practice
3. Bill Murray - Zombie - win!
4. Brains - the new white meat
5. Even James Bond had a run in with a zombie

Personally, zombies don't do anything for me. Not sure why they've become the new vampires.

Because vampires turned gay and started glistening in the sun...

With help of babelfish, I have been able to answer this in Youngjohn style:

Because they are so the large: Enumerate your 5 reasons:

1 - they are faithful, they survive as zombie that you need the force in numbers
2 - they are hard, even a fast kick in jumk won'? the t brings to them under
3 - they are dedicated - nothing is not them to prevent to chase you under with a mediocre speed
4 - these force the persons in order to place terrible, hardly reliable places for dead children
5 - they are more badass from a badger of honey

Because along with Nazis and Robots, are part of the trifecta of things you can violently kill in movies/games without guilt. Nazi zombie robots are especially good cannon fodder.

Zombies were always cool, but definite +1 on the above.

I'm a big fan, which makes sense, as I AM a zombie, per my avatar to the left...

Don't worry, once the teenage zombie romance comes out, zombies will no longer be cool either:

R is a young man with an existential crisis–he is a zombie. He shuffles through an America destroyed by war, social collapse, and the mindless hunger of his undead comrades, but he craves something more than blood and brains. He can speak just a few grunted syllables, but his inner life is deep, full of wonder and longing. He has no memories, no identity, and no pulse, but he has dreams.
After experiencing a teenage boy’s memories while consuming his brain, R makes an unexpected choice that begins a tense, awkward, and stragely sweet relationship with the victim’s human girlfriend. Julie is a blast of color in the otherwise dreary and gray landscape that surrounds R. His decision to protect her will transform not only R, but his fellow Dead, and perhaps their whole lifeless world.

True, but this one is based off of a popular book and is being made by the same studio that made the Twilight series, so I think more people will care this time.

Some indie movies have explored zombie "love", though not necessarily very well:

Graveyard Alive: A Zombie Nurse in Love

Deadgirl

Fido

I can just see the grade A dialogue now:

Julie: Oh, it's a zombie. He is eating my boyfriend. Oh Zombie, why are you eating my boyfriend?

R: Unghhh......

Julie: Oh, I understand. You were just a victim of peer pressure. You shouldn't let your Zombie friends tell you who to eat. What is your name?

R: Arrrrrgh!

Julie: Oh, R! What a beautiful Zombie name! I feel strangely connected to you. Do you feel the same?

R: Braaaains!

Julie: Oh, you love me for my brains? Wow, you DO understand me! Stop chewing on that femur so we can make out until your lips rot off!

I didn't know that was happening, so I Googled it.

That would have been sweet, but it was suppose to have been released a year ago.

I’m also a PS3 owner.

Nomadic.
They know how to enjoy a hot meal.
They dont discrimnate, everyone is equally tasty to them.
They share meals, so they must care about each other.
Their zombie shuffle allows them to move slow enough stop and take in what's around them. Enjoy the beauty of life around them before attacking.
