Title: Megatouch Maxx Jade sound issues

I got a Megatouch Maxx jade system recently.  It boots up fine and everything works except for the sound. I checked all the connectors, etc, but no luck. I tried to perform a hardware redetect, setting the drive back to default, all that.  During boot I do get an error message when the mixer tried to load.  I attached a screenshot of the error message during boot.  I wonder if it is a driver issue or something within Linux.  Can anyone give some advice on this?  If it is a driver issue, how would I go about fixing it?

if you have the cd's for it, try a re-install.

other than that, maybe check the board and see if you have any bad caps.

failing all that, you might need a new harddrive.

I will try that.  I do not have the Cds, but the HDD is new. I will check for any bad caps.

crappy load ?
or the sound card is lose ?

caps do not cause a s/w error

if so it would not have past it very first post
ie very top of your screen

it loaded all but the sound
so go to the sound board,it should be a seperate board
with a small heat sink
make sure it is :seated:

if so reload
rem u need a good dvd plaver for these
