Sorry for my noobishness, but I rescued a 19" monitor from an 8-liner machine and would love to put it to use. Problem is, arcade monitors are a mystery to me. (It is a WG 19K7901, pic of tag below)
So, today, I have the opportunity to get an older, but new and unused arcadeVGA card. The guy is asking $30, I am hoping to talk him down to $20. Ulitmarc doesn't seem to have any info about older cards on their website, so I was wondering if any of you had any info (picture below).
So...
1. Any info about this card's specs anywhere? OR anybody have this model and have thoughts on it?
2. Would this be a good thing to partner with the monitor I have to make, say, a cocktail arcade?
3. Does this look like a PCI or PCI-e card? Getting confused about that has caused me trouble in the past.
Thanks in advance!
edit: the guy has no manual, cables, or anything else for it either. He only knows what it is and that he has had it for a long time. If there is an "essential" accessory it looks like it is missing, let me know!
edit2: forgot pics :banghead:

So, I grabbed the card, $20, not bad (if it works), had a monitor... have an old working pc with an agp slot... time to add another build to the queue! :applaud:

It's an AGP (first mdoel of AVGA) with 64MB RAM.
I have exact card on my setup (I'm looking for one for parts just in case I need to replace it one day).
I run mine with Advmame in pure DOS (the other model (pci-e) does not work with Advmame.
The only one works with Advmame is the First and maybe the sec\ond (AGP cards).
This card only works in 15khz mode (newer works with 15-31khz)
YOu need a VGA Breakout cable. Click below for it if you need one.
