Title: CUSTOM Marquee - NEEDED

Does anyone make custom Marquee's?? I need one for a Cabinet I just got.

Here is the size:

16 Inches HIGH
27 1/2  LONG

Its a World Soccer Finals video arcade  cabinet made by LELAND.

I'd like to convert it to a MAME Arcade ........

It was on E-BAY for $75 so I emailed the person and offered $50. We ended up agreeing on $60 with the understanding that the monitor did not work. I get the game home and open up the back (Had to pick the lock-no key included) and GUESS WHAT.........

The power cord was disconnected..........Reconnected it and pluged it in WORKS FINE  ! ! ! ! !

WHAT A STEAL !  !

FOOTBALL AND BASEBALL.....MUCH more then SOCCER :-) LOL

The game is pretty good when you have 4 players, but would rather make it a MAME

emdkay could not make it 16 High...They only go 8 High.........Can anyone make one this size??

I'd rather not get 2 from emdkay and tape them together...Know what I mean....

Look at emdkay's Side Art section. I'm pretty sure he uses the same paper for Marquees and side art. It's 27.50 to have a single done in any size up to 23 X 35. Email him he's a great guy.

You could always created one and have kinko's and the like print it out.  I could whip one up for if you don't have the means to make one ;D

I like them all......Awsome.....!!! I like the black one but is there a way to make the text blue??

Try kinko's and any quick print places if they can print large format. Be sure to use glossy paper. Do you want bobby115 or just bobby on it? I'll post a proof so you know what you are getting

Here's your proof. Let me know what kind of file requirements you need in the future. Talk to the emkady guy about printing a custom size marquee/sideart.  He might quote you a better price than kinko's. Just an idea!

That looks AWSOME.........One last thing......If its hard then dont ever worry about it........

Maybe a colored outline around the text??

If its alot dont worry looks awsome now as well

There is a light blue color around the text right now, what other color do you have in mind? And there is a light blue outer glow around bobby and multiple etc.

Thanks alot buddy for all the help......What do I do just bring it to kinkos or minutemanpress and give them the file?? Do I need to tell them what file formate it is or anything?

Also when they print it big it will not lose its clarity right?

Just give them the file when your ready.  They should be able to handle an eps file. Just let me know if they have any other kind of requirements and I'll send you the correct file.

No, it is all vector based so there shouldn't be a resolution problem. Be sure to take a tape measure with you when you pick up your printout so that the printout is the correct size.

Hey 3dmacman, By any chance did you send that file to the aol address as well as the other one I gave you?? I didnt get that file yet......Maybe something happened.

Is there a place online that I can sign up for some free webspace so you can upload the file?? Or maybe we can do a file transfer??



Anyone here have some webspace that can hold this file for a few minutes until i donwload it??
