Ever bid on something on Ebay, and not entirely expect to win? That happened to me today... Total Carnage (in a Smash TV) cab, bad monitor, not much other info about it... $26, about 2 hours away from me.
Now I have to tell my wife... thankfully she is cool about this stuff! ;D
Hopefully the seller is cool... has 100% feedback, though, so I have high hopes.

Wow, thats a nice score. This is the chance you take when you list something at No Reserve.
Wouldn't surprise me if he said something happened to it before you go to pick it up though.

Yeah, we will see how it pans out. Had it listed on his local CL for $100, but in the listing he said "I bought an actual MAME machine today and no longer want to put the time into working on this Total Carnage." So hopefully he just wants to reclaim the garage space.

Several e-mails back and forth with the seller, he seems cool. I'll be picking it up on Saturday. So hard to tell condition from one picture, here's hoping its a good cab.

That's how I ended up with my Gorf ($176), one of my skeeball machines ($101), and my MegaTouch ($105). The old lady was not very happy to learn the news of any of them...

Sometimes people just want to unload the stuff. I picked up a P-47 Freedom Fighter (in a Two Tigers cab) in beautiful shape this week because the seller wanted the machine out. Nice catch on that auction, btw.

Two Tigers is a cool looking cab, good find. I put my last bid ($35) in on it about two hours before the auction ended, had to take my daughter to a Dr. appointment, I was sure it was going to get sniped. I'm excited to have a new project cab but need to stay relatively reserved until I find out for sure it isn't horribly water damaged in the back or something.

The 'local pickup' might've been the decider...although, I can only see those wanting to turn it (back) to a Smash TV, or those wanting to MAME it, being that interested in it.

Two Tigers is a cool looking cab, good find.
I like it, although the CP isn't quite right since it was converted to a JAMMA cab with joysticks, leaving a big blank space where the flight yokes used to sit. Maybe I'll do an aircraft control panel graphic to match the artwork on the rest of the cabinet.

Picked it up today... looks pretty solid. Not the cleanest conversion from Smash TV to Total Carnage, but not too bad. Speakers, controls, glass, etc. Coin door looks functional, might need a little refinishing. Electronics look clean. 4 wico 8-way leaf switches, they look decent. Will turn it on tomorrow to see if it plays blind like the listing said. Definitely worth $26. (Well, $25.75, I found a quarter inside). Seller was very cool, helped me put it in the truck.
Now what is it going to become... hmm... ;D
