Title: Plexi on Laminated Vinyl
Post by: metalr on July 28, 2011, 04:22:08 pm
Hi all
Finished my bar-top cab this week. And just noticed that I have moisture underneath the plexi on my control panel. I've used laminated vinyl stickers for my artwork and I think its causing it to sweat. I've tried wiping it but it comes back within a few minutes. Anyone else had this? And is there anything I can do to stop it ?

Cheers

I think some of that sticking that looks like wetness  between plexi and some vinyls is a surface tension thing.  Some materials do not work well in contact with each other.  Vinyl is not a solid so seems to cling with a wet look to the plexi.
