Title: Link to an interesting filter which a dev member may be interested in?

I found this link that a dev member may be interested in? In about a filter that has been developed for up-scaling retro graphics:

The problem is they don't include the tool they've made to process images. Perhaps they're going to commercialise it in some way? Photoshop plugin? I notice one of the authors works for Microsoft so who knows?

M$ seems to have this huge r&d team that is paid to come up with fantastical software and hardware they have no intention of ever releasing to the public.  I'm not sure if this tech came directly from a r&d team or if it was privately done, but either way... no app/codec no dice.

Mame goal its to preserve games as they where, not better looking, so i doubt mame devs will be interested to inplement somenthing like that.  :cheers:
