new here... hi everyone.
first off, what is the best setting for photoshop to create a cp?
mine will be 24x10 w/ rounded corners.
also, i want to intergrate these as my button layouts:
player 1: http://www.slagcoin.com/joystick/layout/sega1_s.png (http://www.slagcoin.com/joystick/layout/sega1_s.png)
&
player 2: http://www.slagcoin.com/joystick/layout/sega2_s.png (http://www.slagcoin.com/joystick/layout/sega2_s.png)
when i intergrate these into photoshop how do i know they are the right size in comparison to the dims i set?
i would like to emulate a sf2 ce/capcom blue cab.
does anyone know which font was used for sf2 ce logo?
sorry for all the questions... this is my first attempt at arcade build.

Hey man,
I happen to be in the process of building the a street fighter 2 CE cab too. I ran across the same problem with the control panel, I want to use the Japanese style layout but the graphics are laid out for the traditional SF2. I cannot offer any advice on Photoshop but I can tell you that the player 1 and player 2 button need to be much closer. Anyways it looks good.

i'm trying to emulate the sf2 ce look. it won't be totally exact. more like when you see it from afar you'd think that it is but when you look closer than you'll see the differences. the p1 & p2 are there because it would be to crowded in the center of the cp. especially since i'm using the a 8 button layout. i'm hoping to have plenty of room for my hands to rest on the cp too. but thanks for the suggestion.

The only real advice I would give you is to make sure you are working at 150-300dpi. Your dimensions can be whatever you see fit. Good luck!
