Title: Touch Screen Hyperspin / Jukebox Project.
Post by: H4CK3R on March 01, 2011, 09:07:53 pm

Came up with the idea that I wanted to build a jukebox, a touch screen, and a Megatouch system all in one.  Hell, why not throw Hyperspin into the Mix.

Using a 23 inch Touch screen, 250 watt amp, mids' and tweekers, with a I3 and 4 gigs ram. 2 TB HD space.  2 Wireless logitect controllers, Powermate controller, wireless mouse and keyboard and a Ipad to control everything.

Here are some of the build pics..

And here is a Video of it in action.

And here is the Idea behind the stainless steal front pace to hold it all together.

Final Draft of the polished stainless steal will look like this.

Will Post more once I get more done.

Sounds alot better in person, 250 watts of power, only 3.5 inch thick, going to be a wall mount.

Almost done with the Prototype, I think I can make it smaller/tighter...

Here is a Photo, I still have to do some finish work on the metal, and clean it up..

So, will you put the arcade sticks and buttons below the screen somehow? or do you plan to use wireless controllers?

How did you cut the metal?  Looks badass.

EDIT: Also, I'd love some more info on the front end you are using - that interface is pretty slick.

I would think the title of the thread is the answer.

Yes, Koolbrezze and i have been working on the front end for over 6 months, problem is every time we nail something down, they tweak it again, so its back to the drawing boards, we are working on version 16, so it's kinda to be expected as it's still a beta.

Any new updates to this? Do you plan to release the skin to others when it's done?
