Title: will an arcadeVGA stop the flicker?
Post by: Malenko on January 22, 2011, 03:27:58 pm
Im having HUGE flicker issues, PC using nvidia card to a JPAC, using soft 15. Will an arcadeVGA card fix this or is it the monitor thats the problem?

I can pick a res and get it stable, but when I fire up a game that switches resolutions, its flicker city. Some of them I cant get stable at all.

What monitor do you have and what resolution are you trying to run at?

In my experience, Nvidia cards that would do anything I threw at them had trouble giving good sync through a JPAC to the standard res arcade monitor in my cabinet. The image would slightly shudder on some resolutions. Only a Radeon 9200 consistently worked.
