Title: Jamma Auto up/auto down / service switch wiring help
Post by: TBullet on November 04, 2010, 03:15:01 pm
I'm curious on how to wire these 2 switches from the jamma board.
There's the advance up/down labeled test switch (#15) on the board and the service switch (#14). How do I wire these up? One lead from the harness to the switch and the other side of the switch to a ground?
On my Robotron, there are 3 switches. the advance and up/down and high score reset. Can I run a single ground wire from each of these together to daisy chain the ground on them?

Thanks.

Usual wiring is ground to one side of the service or test switch and the other  side to the jamma connector.  Would imagine the Rotoron switch is the same but you can always check a robotron manual to be safe.

Links to manuals (http://www.robotron-2084.co.uk/manualsrobotron.html)

As far as I can see all the buttons are connected to GND.

Edit: My Bad Tbullet referred to jamma so I did not check the manuals.

Robotron was not jamma!
Are you hooking up a XX in 1 board? You just need momentary on pushbuttons.
