Title: BAD DUDES...............any art ?
Post by: mike boss on October 13, 2010, 09:39:49 pm: I know bad dudes was a conversion kit......or I think it was anyway.
Anyone have any good "Bad Dudes" art, anything that would make good side art ?
Sadly I'm not skilled in Illustrator, had I been I would have converted the old Nintendo box art.
Anyway if anyone has anything by all means let me know.

The cabinet looks sweet. From what I can recall
(and what I read) I know Bad Dudes was indeed a
conversion kit. I picked up two project cabinets
that I ended up selling. One had a Bad Dudes board +
marquee in it. (Thank gosh the seller didn't know
that was on my list of must have games). Anyway,
I have a Tekken 3 that I never use in a Dynamo cabinet.
I thought I would put the board + marquee in that
cabinet. I had seen some Bad Dude cabinets with the
Data East logo, but wanted something bold & colorful.
I found a decent scan of the old NES Bad Dudes box art.
I'm going to see if I can work a lil Vector Magic, using
vector magic and create some decent side art.
I'll post the results should anyone be interested.

I know the original side art was the Data East logo, but I want something with more POW!
Even the CPO was (is) very generic.

For what its worth I have a 25" Dynamo cabinet that I'd like to convert.
The cab will remain gray with the black t-molding.
The joysticks will be red ball tops, the buttons yellow and red sanwa's.

Marquee original and in my possession. Bezel repro (crossing fingers on cost).
Then (if all goes well) some custom side art based on the existing cabinet elements.
