I'm working on a new project. It's a Nintendo cabinet restoration.
When all is said and done it will be MAME based and I hope to have luck using MALA and INSTANT SHELLER.
Anybody know if I can find a list of 4 way (or even 8 way) games that require only 1 button ?
Would be nice if a list existed so I could customize the ROM set to be tailor fitted to the cabinet.
Any info would be great.
Thanks

This is the tool for the job

You can easily create the list you want and export it to the format you need for your front end

AWESOME DUDE ! Thank you
That is awesome !
I wanna utilize my machine to best of its ability.
I have a question that does not directly relate to this, but perhaps someone can help.
I have MAMEUI v 124 with the ROM set.
I've downloaded v 124 of the comand line MAME.
Is it correct that MAME version + ROM set should match ?
IE v 124 MAME with 124 ROM set.
So I did the correct thing ?
MALA will not run with MAMEUI ?
thanks to all

I downloaded this program and read the tutorial. Took me a few minutes to get it
(A.D.D)....get it as in understand what to do!.
But I managed to figure out and create a list.
I also re-created the list pointing it to my actual ROM set.
About 500+ games as per the list. I saved it as a MaLa file.
Looking forward to getting the PC ready for the DK project.
I also downloaded the newest version of MaLa, and the awesome
skin on John's arcade site. I also downloaded the regular version
of MAME that would match with my ROM set. However the general
response is MAMEUI will work with MaLa.
I look forward to getthing this configured and running shortly.
Thank you
