Might be of interest to some.
ToCA released x360ce v2.0.2.76, an Xbox 360 controller emulator (a wrapper library that translates the xinput calls to directinput calls).
"Xbox 360 Controller Emulator" allows your controller (GamePad, Joystick, Wheel, ...) to function like "Xbox 360 Controller" on a Windows PC. For example it allows you to play Grand Theft Auto (GTA) game with Logitech wheel.

Not had chance to try it out yet, but I'm sure it will have some uses

I've tried the program before in hopes of using the UltraStik with the Makaron NAOMI emulator. No luck, though. If anyone else ever tried it and was able to get it to work, I'd love to know!
