My paint is drying as I type this and it doesn't look right at all. It looks like there's webbing underneath or something. Its lump and just flat, even though I painted on a flat surface. Does anybody know what it's doing this?

Did you put it on too thick?
Don't worry, though, all is not lost. Let it dry completely, lightly sand, and repaint. This is how you would get a nice finish anyway.

What type of paint did you use?
More than likely it will have reacted with the paint beneath.
Once it has dried sand it down as suggested and try a test paint over the worst area to see if it reacts again.
If it does then you will need to strip all the paint off or use a barrier primer.

Did you prime the surface first to seal it?

Yeah, I ran out of paint so I when out and bought some more, but the new paint I bought needed to go over primer. I sanded it down, primed it, and then painted it. Thanks for the help guys. ;D
