noticed this while browsing RGVAC...

I believe they have a exerpt you can wathc and of course when it'll play again... *shrug*

It must be arcade day on Tech TV, there's a Mame box on it right now on X-Play.  :o

Being shown by a guy from Call for Help.  Even touchs on the roms, and an interesting solution is public domain roms.

Yeah, no mention od byoac in there at ALL!  PJ and I sent an email :)  If they mention BYOAC I wonder if we'd get the /. effect.

it was the same episode, actually. and did anyone else think that machine was, well, crappy? i think using the xarcade was not very smart, but, he has to look at it...

I believe in helping people with their own projects and I actually enjoy it, but I don't think this site needs anymore advertising. If the MAME scene grows too big then someone will have a fit and shut it down. Moreover, I think this site should be reserved for people with enough initiative to find out about it on their own. They don't need to know how to build a machine when they get here. They just have to show enough interest and motivation to be an active, participating, helpful member. After all, isn't that how almost everyone else got on here?

We are the people with the motivation to do a good job on a MAME cabinet and make the scene credible. You get enough half-assers in here and it'll just screw stuff up for everybody as well as lessen our reputation for excellence and innovation. Do I consider this site for the elite? Yes. Do I consider it exclusive? No. But I think you all see where I'm coming from.

That xarcade looks obnoxious on that cocktail cab.  What the hell was he thinking?  Product advertisement?

yeha, product advertizing.  Gamespot (OLD techtv show) did a review of the hotrod once.

Oh wow... That DOES look really bad... I fel embarassed for the guy that showed that thing on national TV...
