I am trying to get a broken rock n bowl redemption back to life. I am going to get some pictures up soon, because I'm sure I will need plenty of help. My first problem was a burned idc connector from the transformer to the board that supplies the power to the main game board and the token and ticket counting board, as well as lights and everything else. When I got the game and plugged it in, the lights came on and speaker crackled and that was it. A little red light was lit on the power board. I noticed today a voltage regulator was missing from the power board. It had a hand written label that said LM317. I found some voltage regulators that are labeled LM317T in my arcade supplies. Is the LM317T going to work in that spot?? Thanks in advance!

The "T" is the package style. (size and shape)
So if it fits, go for it.
I have a very small manual for that machine if you need it. Not much at all in it, but doe have settings info and a trouble code chart. (no schematics)
I haven't messed with one in awhile, but happy to help if I can. (as I'm sure others are too)

Thanks. I actually already downloaded that manual from the other thread, when I was gathering any information I could about this game. Thanks again. That regulator sent power to the main game board, the three lights on the game board came on right away. So I am heading in the right direction. The first regulator I put in, made the game board lights turn on. There is not a constant display on the counters, but I did see some of the lights turn on for a second. After a minute or two, both of the boards turned off. I put it in another regulator(I have a few, they look new but I know they have been sitting in the arcade for years). Both game board lights continued to stay on, but I still dont have a display on the counters. When I turn the volume control it crackles a bit, but I dont hear any game sound yet. I hope I can figure this out.
