That young girl could have had her neck broken, lost teeth etc. As a parent to a daughter (although im sure most non parents would even agree) i gotta agree this *is* horrible.

I find all the people getting up in arms over the video funnier than the video itself (which I DID find amusing, but for an entirely different reason -- who takes their kid to something like that?).

You didn't find the thought that the child could have been crippled or killed horrifying? Full impact to her head with the kick, neck snapped back, full flip to land on her head. That's like a 3 year old. I don't understand how any human being wouldn't find this horrifying.

Of course it's horrifying and I didn't find that amusing. It was the fact that the environment seemed like the wrong place to bring a kid in the first place. I thought I explained it well enough when I said it. Guess not.

Yeah, this video is neither funny, nor tasteful. It's something I'd expect to see on F@rk, or S-Aweful.

when i first seen this a while back i was WTF!?!?. but after i seen it a second time i laughed not so much because she got kicked but because of the sounds, like the chunli knockout sound.

I pointed out the part I found amusing, which had nothing to do with the kid getting hurt.
Notice my use of "that" the second time around ("that" meaning "the kid getting injured")

Wow, as a parent I dont see the humor in the video, all I see is an unfortunate incident, accidental in nature, nothing to "Fight" about.
As for the Street fighter video, a big difference between a 2 1/2 year old getting kicked and literally flung across the floor and 'staged' 10yr olds on logs that were shooting a video, albiet the kid does fall and hit his head pretty hard.
Nothing really funny about either. :lame:

Just so you parents feel better, I saw the unedited version when it circulated the net a few years ago, and as I recall, the kids gets up after that and is just fine. No snapped neck/missing teeth. :)

Anyone who finds it funny to see a 3yr old getting hit is truly Heartless.

I bet the kid was ok though. Ever notice how gentle everyone is with a newborn? Now think back to the doctor who pulled it out & shook the hell out of it & wiped it down all crazy with that towel like a puppy just finishing a bath. Kids are tough, I could jump from a tree 2x's my height as a kid...if I did that now I would need physical therapy for a year.

I hope the kids was ok, but I have to admit I did laugh, I guess i assumed the kid was okay if they posted it... but maybe not.
Either way, in places like that, the parent should have been holding their kid. Especially if the child hasn't learned how to stay out of dangerous situations like that. I know a lot of kids that age that would know better than to do something like that, but I guess it was a new environment and the kid didn't know they danger.
I don't think it's an issue to have a kid, but carry or hold your kid during those parts.. especially if they haven't learned to be careful.
