Title: Robocop Monitor Problem
Post by: Vanderzam on April 05, 2010, 07:28:11 pm
I recently bought a Robocop cabinet which I intend to restore, so I’ll need some of your precious knowledge and advice. The cab itself is in very good shape, but there is something wrong with the monitor. It only displays the picture in green tones.

You can see what I’m talking about right here:

Robocop.avi (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KypGWmxYfug#)

There is no problem otherwise, the picture quality is great (even though the monitor is slightly burned), it is not blurry or anything.

What could cause this?

The monitor is a WG 19K7602

First thing I would do is check the video input cable pins on the main chassis for bad solder joints and also check the neckboard solder joints around the large resistors and transistors.
