Post by: mrk8814 on March 05, 2010, 07:56:50 pm
I have just installed a cap kit and new flyback and all I get is this screen with sound, any ideas?

Looks like you have no video signal going to the monitor.
Is the video input cable from the game plugged into the monitor?
If it is, what pins are the wires on ? (red, green, blue, ground, Sync)

well first off, you going to have to turn down that screen on the flyback

everything is plugged in, the wires coming from the yoke to the chassis ( which can only go one way), the video signal from the game board to the chassis is plugged in correctly as well...thing is i have another 7191 chassis and it works perfectly when i plug it in this cabinet, but that chassis is for my mortal kombat cabinet. ok, screen setting is turned down slightly...

Ok, so the game IS playing "blind" then. (playing, but no image)

Check the solder joints on the header pins where the video cable plugs in to the chassis.
