If I install this thing how easy is it to go back if I don't like it? If I have it boot straight to my front end and "exit" will I be brought back to my regular desktop? I'm a bit nervous doing something to the computer that I may not be able to reverse.
So..... explain it to me (please)! Thanks!

SET A RESTORE POINT. (speaking WinXP here)
I personally had troubles with the UNDO feature not undoing all that it did.
Others seem to have good results with it.

If you run instant sheller by Tom Spiers and shell your frontend you CAN undo ALL changes by running the application again and pressing the undo changes button.
Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE, CTRL + F for file menu, Arrow down to run prorgam. type EXPLORER, navigate to the place you put the EXE and run it.

Yup... that's the one I tried..... http://www.gameex.com/Community/InstantShellerandshellingguide/tabid/73/Default.aspx (http://www.gameex.com/Community/InstantShellerandshellingguide/tabid/73/Default.aspx)
It did NOT undo properly on my machine.
Got so frustrated I had to run a restore and then redo half my software because my restore point wasn't updated enough.
Have had similar issues with other "instant sheller" programs, so it's not to put down this particular one, just a forewarn to take steps to be able to restore IF it goes bad.
I know others have had great success with it.... my only problem was with the UNDO, everything else worked fine.

What particular part of undo failed?

How do I set a restore point (I have Tiny XP installed)?

I tried this sheller it caused me problems too. When I went to undo the changes I could not even get the dialog box to show up, luckly I set everything up on an external drive and just had reinstall tinyxp and retransfer the data

And I still can't seem to nail down "why" the undo is not working on my system.
(Quick Sheller did the same thing to me, wouldn't undo correctly)
Maybe something to do with my not-so-updated version of WinXP SP2 ?
