I managed to sort this issue, thanks to some help. I'd mistyped the noinput command for Demulshooter with an s on the end so it was registering those inputs as well.

I have a Sony KV-27FS13. I also have an average machine using a Radeon HD 5770 (I also have a R9 280X). I'm using a VGA to Component cable to connect to the Trinitron. I got this cable when I purchased a MiSTer Analog IO board but I'm no longer using with the current version of the MiSTer IO board as it uses a different connector.
The Mister VGA-component cable is passive - for it to work you must enable component video output via the Mister config file. It won't work with a standard video card.QuoteMy issues occur when I try installing GroovyArcade. The CRT will behave the same way it would if you're using a 480p or 50Hz on a consumer NTSC CRT. I'm able to use pictures from GA tutorials to see the correct options to pick but the screen doesn't seem to want to correct itself.
Even without sync, you might get a picture on your TV if it can guess where the sync *should* be and are using a fairly standard 50 or 60hz signal, but the colours will still be wrong.
For a PC you'll need an RGB-component transcoder like GreenAntz, which I make (contact me directly). It is designed specifically for gamers using CRT TVs, and is ideal for arcade cabs. Because it is a transcoder (not adapter or converter or scaler) it allows you to use video modes created by CRT_emulator/Groovyarcade and Groovymame directly and without alteration.
New to the forum. I have brand new TV SONY KV-29LS35 (50Hz). Could this be eventually used in a arcade project?
I couldn't take the Voron hype anymore and ordered a refurbed SV08. May God have mercy on my soul.
still haven't configured pressure advance or input shaping and not sure if i will bother.
since it's a bigger print bed i will probably try input shaping.
Both those things make a huge difference and not just in speed.
Getting pressure advance right makes the sides print look smoother and eliminates bulging at the corner.
Input shaper gets rid of artifacts that may be worse at higher speeds, but the improvement will probably still be visible at your current speeds.
(Or you can print much faster and end up with the same quality you have now.)
Initial setup for input shaping is a bit of a PITA, but neither is that difficult once you get into them.
Pressure advance can vary by filament, but in my experience it doesn't vary all that much if sticking to the same type of filament (ie ABS). I only change it when running bigger nozzles or weird filament types. If you are constantly changing filaments and nozzle sizes, then I can see where it would be a hassle. You can have the slicer set it as part of the filament profile, but if using the same profiles on a bunch of different printers that could be an issue.
The only discord channel we have in common is the TP one. Output blast works with every other emulator.@buttersoft , do you know how to output lamps signal? I tried "broadcast digital output" but it freezes all my naomi games. Thanks
No, i do not :/ I haven't actually looked at updating my flycast install for ID3 for a while, but was planning to soon. Hmm, you have output lamps going for MAME or Teknoparrot or something else, via MAMEhooker, presumably? It might be worth checking with Boom or MightyMike about whether the outputblaster supports flycast. I'd jump into the discord right now but i'm away on holidays with the family this week
I plan to go through this soon, so watch this space? I'm sure i know you from a discord too, fablog, but which one? IDPlayers?
