Touchscreen

Not sure if this should go under monitors/video section so I am starting here.
I found a great deal on a 19" ELO LCD 19 inch 1947L but it has cracks on the bezel.  I emailed the guy to hold it for me and send pictures of the cracks.  My first thought is who cares about the cracks I will frame it out with wood (or something) but it looks like it is not a flat bezel.  My second thought is to remove the bezel but does this bezel hold the touchscreen or any parts in place?
The price is low enough that I have to get it but high enough that if I can use it I would kick myself for not getting a 15" that I know looks good.  This will be for a jukebox...is this a good buy?

I would imagine this to be a simple recase. The touchscreen panel may already be held in place by some kind of adhesive and if it isn't double sided tape should do the trick. The screen will also be flat so re-casing it will be simple enough.

some filler and automotive touch up paint if it bothers you that much. Im lazy I'd just put some art / vinyl over it

Yeah I am much to lazy for all of that.  I just wasn't sure if I could remove the bezel that is on there and mount it under something.  I want to frame it out but the bezel that is on there looks like it sticks out a lot.

Open Frame is the term that I was looking for.  Something like what is in the picture.
