Question on TV for Cabinet.
MarcusTurtle:
if you want to find a crt try craigs list or any second-hand stores that you can think of. My crt i got for free, it doesn't have s-video input but i'm find with a componet input, it doesn't look that bad. if your going for that exact arcade feel then if s-video to compoent isn't that bad, if you really looking for something clear i would try either a computer moniter or one made for mame....

Ahem, you mean composite. Composite is a single RCA cable. Component is THREE RCA cables in tandum, used for a much higher quality image. :D

Thanks for the replies all.
I have put a wanted ad on craigslist, and I'll keep looking for someone selling one.
I tried the usedeverywhere.com website, but there is nothing close to me (Upper Michigan).
I'll try the secondhand shops locally, but they usually charge almost full price for things.
I'm sure i'll find something.

Get the biggest youcan to fit within the confines of your donor cabinet. Connectivity is not necessarily an issue for your PC as you can pick up dirt cheap graphics cards that will allow S-Video, RCA or whatever so just be sure it will display your consoles well and have enough connectivity for them. For my first cabinet, I got a switchable multi-SCART connector that had both my PC's S-video connection plugged in as well as my PS1. It was a decent 'internet TV' which had a fairly clear display so was ideal, and meant I could switch between my PS1 (with G-Cons for gun games and hacked joypads for fighting games) and my PC (connected with an I-Pac). Your best bet will be ebay for the biggest range of used TV's.

ebay may be best selection, but it's also going to add to the price due to the large shipping cost. But, if there's nothing local, he really doesn't have a choice I suppose.
