Side Mounting Holster... does it exist?
markronz:
I just used a normal U-bolt available at any hardware store. Then I painted mine black. They work great. I've had them for about a year, and haven't had to repaint them yet to due scuffs from removing and inserting the gun, although at some point down the line, I might need to do that. But, obviously, repainting is very easy to do.
The first picture is just of the U-bolts, I'm referring to. They're availble in a large number of sizes.
Then the other two pictures are of my cabinet with the holders. I couldn't find a better view than that, sorry.

I didn't think of U-bolts! Thanks! :banghead:

I also used U-bolts. I fit them in the same holes as the original guns were installed in on my Area 51 cab. They worked great with my Scorpion3's but were not quite big enough for the Namco GunCon2's, so I added a stainless steel bolt in the top hold. Looks great and works well.

Bicycle frame-mount items work well. The diameter of a bike frame tube is about the diameter of a gun barrel.
I got these for my ACT-Labs guns, but they also work very well with my LCD TopGun IIs.
