Be aware that the image might fade, darken or even go negative in any of the techs, but much quicker on IPS.

That sounds more like TN. I've got two PVA panels and one IPS. The viewing angle on the IPS isn't too bad and I don't get a negative image on it (nowhere near as bad as a TN panel from the top/bottom). Viewed from the front the IPS has a better color range IMO.
However that said, when using dark (black) backgrounds the IPS panel gets the "purple" haze effect when viewed from the side. It drives me crazy (this is one reason I prefer PVA). Light backgrounds don't do it, only dark or black ones (but then I almost always use dark ones). I had never even heard about it until I experienced it, and then I found out looking for the purple haze on black is a quick way to determine if a panel is IPS.

I'm staring at a 213T right now. If I could swap out my other panels for more 213T's I would do it. The 214T is a newer model than the 213T, but the one in that auction looks like it has some odd thing going on in the lower left (what they call "faint pressure mark").
Blanka:
The display in the image was an SX2431W. This was the first display. It is one of the office displays and rather expensive/not the best for gaming (3 frames lag).
Today it houses an 26 inch IPS display (a little less bezel than on the image). Don't worry, the newer IPS's don't have the purple haze any longer. There's a slight haze, but it is neutral very dark grey.

IKEA :badmood: :dizzy: :hissy:  ?????
I presume you were refering to a Muji, a Vitra or a Plus-Min-Zero shop. :D
Ikea stinks except for cups, plates and garbage buckets. It can even be expensive.
Take this:
It looks crap and it is nowhere near the perfect sit as can be had on this:
Plastic chair by Eames, sold by Vitra or Herman Miller.
Even the frame is 10 times stronger than Ikea's one, although it might not look so.
The Ikea chair is 130 euros, the Eames (depending on your negotiation) around 160 euro. So the IKEA is not even worth considering price wise. Especially if you know that the Eames live for 50 years with ease, and keep their original value as second hand value.
