I need new plexi

(1/2) > >>

dieseldogpi:
Where do I look to get new plexi glass for my control panel on my Golden Tee Fore?  I really would rather have something done professionally, anytime I've messed with plexi, it comes out pretty rough.  Thanks.

Epyx:
They key to cutting plexi is a router.  Honestly, with a router its so easy you will be shocked.

dieseldogpi:
what about lexan?  I heard that was much easier to work with.  Even when I go to drill holes in plexi, it cracks.

Beretta:
lexan is suppose to be a lot more flexible and easier to work on.. but it also is suppose to scratch easier and cost more..

try using a hole saw on the plexy instead of a twist bit.

also go slow i've heard a lot of people having problems simply from putting to much pressure.. just let the drill do the work and go easy.

severdhed:
plexi/lexan are easy to work with if you have a router.  you dont need a good router, one of those $25 trim routers from harbor freight work perfectly.  there are a few threads on this subject..
