X-Box 360 keyboard converter with I-Pac?

<< < (5/5)

Bender:
so do you have to plug in and unplug the wired x360 controler each time you use the xbox 360 on your cab?

fallacy:
No, wired controller just needs to be plugged into 1 of the Max Shooters USB slots,  I-Pac plugged into the PS/2 slot. On Xbox 360 boot up I am able to use the I-PAC or the Controller as my controls at the same time.

Side note: This also makes it real easy to configure Your I-PAC controls with your XBox controls. There is a button on the Max Shooter that says Set. You click that press one of the buttons on your wired 360 Controller then you Press the button on your I-PAC control panel that you want that button mapped to, simple as that.

Their still is a down side. The Max shooter was only designed to be used as 1 player. There are no options to map player 2 controls on the same Max Shooter.

I noticed the I-PAC has 2 PS/2 ports in the back of it. I was thinking if I bought 2 Max Shooters, had the I-PAC going to the both of them… maybe that would work  :dunno
Any thoughts.

Dizzle:
It's cool that you got that setup to work.  How to games play with it?  Is it all pretty responsive?

Regarding the 2 PS/2 ports on the I-Pac -- I imagine one of them is passthrough for a PS/2 keyboard (in case you're using it in ps/2 mode) so the other Max Shooter probably isn't to do any good in that port.

ya it works perfect
