Pics of original cabinet assembly lines?
Epyx:
Just curious if there are any links to pictures of how the original cabinets were "mass produced" back in the day? For example, some machines like Donkey Kong had tens of thousands produced...where/how were they assembled? Any pics exist?
CheffoJeffo:
There were some pics I saw some years ago of the line at the Williams factory ... damned if I remember where I saw them though ... and now I'll have to look ... thanks ...
EDIT: Well, that was fast ... Google + 'site:' narrows things down in a hurry ... nothing like seeing Joust cocktails being built (still one of the best-designed cabs out there)!

EDIT: linked some more pics 'cos they are cool ...
Beretta:
very cool stuff, i never seen a joust cocktail that is a interesting design although somewhat larger then what you expect in a cocktail.

It is, by far, the most comfortable cocktail I have ever played on (I was fortunate enough to pick one up some years back ... it is one of my grails). The angle of the monitor doesn't require you to hunch over to play.
The design was also patented and, IIRC, joymonkey once linked to the patent documentation, but I'll be damned if I can find it!

That is awesome thanks for those pics...I had googled but kept coming up with the hobbyist angle not the original manufacturing one. I guess I just didn't choose the right keywords ;)
Thanks again...very interesting!
