Seriously. What is your purpose on these forums other than stirring up ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- whenever you get the opportunity?
Turnarcades:
Arcade game - great fun.
Megadrive game - average.
His music - excellent.
The bloke - seriously questionable.
His legacy - superb.
TPB:
MJ's music and dancing was awesome. Especially in the '80's, the golden years.
His Thriller, Bad, and Dangerous albums were absolute sensations.
I remember seeing his 3D movie "Captain EO" at Disneyland in 1987. Very cool.
To his credit, he died trying to make a comeback. Good on him for giving it his all. It's too bad "the final curtain call" had to be this.
He was eccentric, that's for sure. But it's not a crime to be eccentric. He deserves the benefit of the doubt. Everybody deserves that.
Sure, he had his Neverland ranch full of amusement games, but we like our amusement games too. He just did what we're doing on a grander scale.
Neverland will become the new Graceland.
As for the accusations with children, he was found innocent by a panel of jurors. The police searched his house and computer from top to bottom, and found nothing. The mother of the accusers had a history of trying to obtain payouts through lawsuits, she had previously sued a department store for a few hundred thousand dollars ... she was caught shoplifting, but had the audacity to sue them, claiming the security guard "assaulted" her.
MJ was a rock icon, and that's how he deserves to be remembered. :applaud:

Hey, you forgot to mention "OFF THE WALL", which is also a quintessential MJ album that should not be overlooked.
And yeah, MJ deserves to be remembered to his outstanding contribution to popular music. His eccentricities and the allegations overshadowed it and it's very unfortunate.
