Did you read the desc?  That's a low run limited edition with a bunch of extra functionality and is NiB.

Hehe. Also, the Jaguar was able to go up to 32 players, and this is one of the games that takes advantage of that. Wonder if there are 32 copies of this game?

I found this because eventually i would like to add a jaguar to the collection. When i first read about the jaguar, this was one of the most recommended games for it. But since AVP is also highly recommended, and they made lots of them (comparably) i think i'll go with that...

I loved that game.  I remember getting chills from playing that game. My brother saw me playing it and laughed because I was turning my head as though I was looking around but I still kept my eyes focused on the same spot on the TV.

Iron Soldier is the other must have Jaguar game, you can play the other games or better versions of them the Sony or Sega systems.

I didn't know it could link to 32 other systems, I guess that's because I was the only person in the Mid West that owned a Jaguar...

How many systems did you see that on?  I have had two and both were reliable - other than that the voltage regulator in the power supply was bad on both when I got them.  They were given to me nonworking, I swapped the VR, and then gave both quite a bit of playtime for a few weeks.

that game was nothing more than a Wolfenstein 3D clone with jerky graphics.

I had Wolfenstein 3D for my Jaguar too.
AVP was a lot more than.
My game also didn't have any problems with frame rates or crashing.

I never played Tempest 2000, but I wasn't a fan of the original Tempest.

I had high hopes for Defender 2000 though.  The reviews at hte time said that game was jerky and didn't play smoothly, so I passed on getting it.

Oh, yeah. tempest 2000. I played that at 'game on' when it came to my town. There is also a hack you can do to make a spinner for it, which would be awesome. So i'll definitely have to do that if i ever get a system...

I'll take a look... odds aren't great on this one, though, as Jaguar stuff never appeared at yard sales.  Some stuff you couldn't avoid but the Jaguar (and weirdly the SNES) never really appeared.

I(my girlfriend at the time) sold my Jaguar and all the games at an annual community garage sale at her parents' house, for $20 bucks.

No regrets though, I still prefer to have $20 over a paper bag full of something I'll never use again taking up space in the garage.

That's alright. I'll keep my eyes peeled. I finally bought a system on ebay. From Canada. Freight's a killer but there are virtually no Jaguars in Australia. No one even knows if they made it here when new...

well, some months later and i've finally got a Jaguar :woot

Not from the froggy canuck mind you. That went MIA. Luckily got a full refund from him. I ended up buying a brand new one. When i unwrapped it yesterday, i just sat there smelling the new plastic  ;D That could be interpreted as ultra-nerdy, or maybe just kinky...

So far i've played cannon fodder (came with the system) and AVP. Cannon Fodder is cute, but could do with a mouse (is it an amiga port maybe?) AVP, amazingly enough, made me jump when i met my first alien! Frame rate is a little slow compared to say Goldeneye on the N64. I can't remember what the frame rate was like on something contempory like Doom on the PC.

Just gonna play it some more. I spent enough on it, so even if it totally sucked i'd wanna get my moneys worth!
