Craftsman power turn-on unit clipping

(1/3) > >>

Ummon:
Per forum mention, I picked up ones of http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00924031000P?keyword=craftsman+power+turn-on%5C

I've had it for about a year and a half, and I just opened it. The problem I'm having, is that with my candy cab connected to one of the accessory outlets, the turn-on unit starts clipping (making clicky sounds, and the monitor goes on and off) after a few seconds. Anyone have this problem or something?

arzoo:
Never had any problems with mine. Seems like yours may be defective. Sears is usually pretty good about returns.

By the way - your link to the sears site is not working.

severdhed:
mine has been working for years now...sounds defective

Mine works great also... http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00924031000P

Kevin Mullins:
What do you have plugged into the "Power Tool" outlet ?
Maybe it's not pulling enough current to trigger the "Accessory" outlets on properly.

Seems like I read that some of the other similar units had an adjustable sensitivity, not sure if these do or not.
