Circus Charlie Side Art (Scans) FOUND!!

this was the first time i scanned an actual cabinet. Hopefully these files are good enough to reproduce something etc. I would really want to restore this game being that it's one of my favorites and I don't think that any one has the side art files for it.

its missing a chunk.. this is the right side of the cabinet if your looking at the monitor. The other side might have this missing part but it was such a pain in the ass to scan just one side I might wait a day or two to move some other stuff outta the way.

I thought it was interesting comparing it to the Japanese flyer, very similar. Mines probably too far gone to re-create it. Actually I have the entire top piece / with the circus charlie text, I just did a quick auto-photomerge in adobe.

That Adobe auto photo merge isn't very good is it? There's a couple of spots where it seems to have mashed down the pieces in an attempt to make them fit. The most obvious spot would be the top right corner. Does Adobe completely ignore the white border as a reference point? When assembling, I would think the border is a key anchor point.

I'm going to try and see what the other side of my cabinet looks like but i'm pretty sure it's missing the same chunk where every one would rest their hands. With that being said are there any other circus charlie owners who would be able to provide a scan? I know Gary Vincent at Fun Spot has one, but I'm not sure if he will be able to let me or someone else scan it. I doubt any one has NOS sideart set or reproduced it.

The side art really makes this game pop out, especially the front door area with the stars. I'm going to also scan that which is in much better condition.

bumping this thread, it's been about a month.. I wonder if any one can work on these files or perhaps have a NOS / Repro set to sell ? If so please PM me !!

finally, fellow KLOVer "pacmaniac" provided the link for a scan, I'm guessing jeff @ rotheblog might clean it up.. not sure, it needs some love but at least it was obtained.

Bumping this 4 year old thread because finally CC Sideart is a reality! ! !

Guy in cali named "fizgig" on KLOV does incredible stuff with vectorizing existing artwork etc..  Any ways, below is the link to the artwork that should be soon available!
