Anyone Have Experience With Namco Used Arcade Sales?

<< < (2/3) > >>

Namco:
Well I am sorry that you don't like my customer service! Maybe I'll try to be more like Sega or Global VR selling giant beat-up plastic monstrosities with crappy gameplay and no resale value, instead of selling world class 3D fighting games, light gun shooters, and inflatable raft paddle simulators. Good luck trying to find something besides a driving, golf, or rhythm dance game HAHAHAAA!!!!

With the arrival of ebay I fail to see why it is worth pursuing direct sales as you inevitably end up paying more than you would elsewhere. Glue yourself to ebay and eventually all kinds of gems turn up. Ebay has become so commercial these days that it's rare anyone turns a profit on things they sell (Most things I now buy are from ebay shops or bulk sellers) and this includes arcades. It turns out many machines aren't as rare as you may think as they turn up frequently and this lowers their value.

Time Crisis 3 was better anyway!  And why won't you release Point Blank with Guncon 2/3 support on PlayStation network???  SUPPORT YOUR LIGHT GUN YOU BASTARD! :P

I do frequently check Ebay/CL and attend local auctions.  As my original post indicated, I was asking about people's experience regarding Namco Used Sales.  There are some great prices in my area but it would be nice to know what the games look like cosmetically and how the gameplay is.  It would be nice however to at least get the call so I can check them out.  If it doesn't work out for me I won't lose any sleep but Namco's Customer Service sure is crap!

RayB:
Huge company. They probably mostly respond to people wanting multiple machines.
