these are the settings that work for me after hours and hours and hours of testing and tweaking settings one setting at a time...

Using Wingun driver. Smogs driver worked with the generic guns but not with Offical namco guns. I've tested the above configuration with both Namco guns and Yobo Generic guncon guns.
I'm running s-video the TV, and then the guns are hooked up to the composite output on the TV, i have Toshiba 27a60 TV.

Hmm I'm using Namco ones with an AVGA card and an actual TRISYNC monitor. I don't think that setup will work for me...

Ok for some reason my gun doesn't want to work in mame now..I dont know if I messed up a default control setting or what but when I go to change the player 1 button and click the trigger as the input it always changes to X or Y then i hafta shake my gun to shoot...How do I fix this? Oh and when its assigned to mouse button 1 it will shoot fine when I lcik the mouse button on my x arcade but when I click the gun the screen flashes and nothing happens...
chrisnack:
make sure you fire off screen a few times before you set the trigger button...
think about it for a bit and you'll understand why you are getting the result you are on button mapping...
