Apparently the laws of physics do not hold for that second picture...

I had assumed they just performed a toast.

I would seriously consider buying a quality print of the top one if I could get it big enough.

OH. Things ya don't notice every day. Of course, I was sorta just looking at it wondering how much novelty there was in the picture at all. I guess I'm not a regular guy.

I contacted the guy and ordered a print - I need something on my walls at home other than paint.  I also suggested he stopped by since this place is always looking for talented for-hire artists to do cab art.  Hopefully he can find some side work here.  Clearly the dude knows his game art vibe.   ;D

Is the print the black/white version, or the cool 'antiqued' version? What kind of material too?

A poster done up like a samurai movie would be super sweet!

I can't get to the info now but if you follow through to the guy's profile he has the offer for prints in his blog.  I assume it's color since it was never specified and I never saw a black and white version.  IIRC he said it was 100lb stock (not that I know what that means).

Yeah I saw that info. The pic on that same blog is the black/white line drawing. He just says "email him" to get a print.

FYI - I printed out a 8x10 of the Mario/DK last night on some high gloss photo paper at home and it actually turned out pretty good.  The image was stretched some to fit the print area but still it turned out good.  Good enough to hang on the wall anyway.

My print arrived yesterday.  I don't know a ton about artwork printing but it looks pretty good to me.  Definitely frameworthy.

I like this one and all, but the "Madness of Mission 6" art/story has caught my attention more.

From the I Am 8 bit art show that happens yearly. http://www.iam8bit.net/ No images there now, but if you do a Google image search for iam8bit you'll find bunches.
