I have already been over there to look at it.  It was all jacked up - DMD display wasnt working right, he had to jack with it to get it to start up correctly, the pyramid didnt work right, etc.....He wanted $1100 for it back then now it looks like its down to $950 - I'm sure partially for the reason's I've stated.  I doubt he's fixed any of those issues, he didnt seem to care about the issues due to the price point he was selling at.  Maybe thats fair but thats more issues than I care to deal with initially.  When I was there the No Fear and RR were in much better looking shape.

Mine isn't NOS but it has almost zero wear on it.  It's about as good as a lot of NOS playfields I've seen, though, considering the usual amount of shelf wear on C title NOS playfields.

Ahh yeah I realized later on that's who you may have been referring to.........The SoCo dude is weird, plain & simple. I wouldn't buy anything from a commie who claims a machine is perfect & then the display & toys are not working.

Yeah the WWF will be getting completely stripped down, polished at high speeds via my drill & all assemblies rebuilt. I figure $200 in parts & 20 hours plus cabinet touchups to get this thing minty.

I just cant be the guy who buys a working machine, it has to be rebuilt & nearly clearcoated.

Right now my TFTC is getting some magic put into it, the thing is in a million parts. I cant wait to post pics of it outside in natural light to showcase this damn near Treasure Cove restoration.

Now theres a bold statement!  You may have to start seeing someone about your OCD.  I have a touch of it myself but have gotten a little better since my daughter has come on the scene - kids and a cleanliness OCD mix like oil and water.

I noticed on the TC site they dont actually take eveything off the playfield when they polish it using their kit and a drill (at least as displayed through the pics).  Are you really taking everything off to where its just the bare playfield or just the "top layer of toys" so to speak so you can get down the playfield using the sponges?  Just curious.   EDIT THAT - Just saw your post in another thread you had going.  That pretty much answered my question.

Look foward to seeing the pics of the "minty" pins.
