 A long time ago I had the idea to use Polarized film on the glass.  However,
Id never got round to it. 
 
 They must be using the same tech as glare-proof coating on eye glasses.

 Pretty darn awesome...  Though Ill have to stick to trying the film someday.
Thats way out of justifiable reason for just a sheet of glass.

That is pretty neat. This stuff would have a real market at around $100-$150, but I agree $300 is just way too much. I wonder how it looks in person? I know I've been thoroughly frustrated on many occasions by glare on a poorly placed route pin.
