vertical lines and blueish tint - old skool galaxian monitor

right what im doing here is non destructive
i have an old galaxian cab which in some time during its life has been converted to arkanoid. Now the 19" monitor is really very good for its age - no real distinctive problems
i thought i might have a quick fiddle and put one of my xbox conversion cards from another cab so i could play vertical games as they were meant to be played.
all wired up ok but with the xbox the screen is slightly blurred and more blue than before. also the are veritical dots / lines that sway about a bit. The picture otherwise is pretty good:

On the flyback ..... adjust the SCREEN voltage pot down a bit and the FOCUS pot as needed.

Why don't you take an air compressor to that thing? Can't see through all that crap.
