Do I need player 2 coin?

Sounds like a good solution, although I would have drilled the hole.  :P

My suggestion would be to have seperate coin buttons for each player.  I mounted them under the control panel toward the front, they are hidden from view but easy to tap to add an extra coin when needed.

The problem with wiring both or all coin buttons to one button is that in games like Guantlet 2, the current favorite with my 9 year old daughter and her friends, is that when you added health to all players at once you would be stuck with a player if they leave.  I have watched them walk away and wait for a single player to die so they could move on without that player.  Kind of funny, but it would be worse if every coin played added health to every player.

Just my two cents.  I must say, I especially like having the coin buttons under the front lip of the control panel, so much so, I installed them that way on both of my MAME machines.  Just drill straight up from the bottom and you are good to go.  No extra buttons on top and easy way to add coins when needed.

I guess you didn't have a chance to read my final solution (reply #29) or even my initial followup (reply #4) where I point out the I DO have coin 1 and coin 2 buttons.  My problem only related to the coin door.  I mention this only because TheShanMan jumped all over me when there was even the appearance that I posted before I read all of the replies.  But thanks for the feedback anyway.
