vpinball on vertical monitor???
« on: June 21, 2003, 11:17:04 pm »
Well, now I've discovered visual pinball, one more thing to add to my planned cab.  Was thinking, pinball machines are vertically oriented, perfect for a cabinet with vertical monitor?  but, vp displays horizontally in Windows.  Just wondering, does it work on vertical monitor, would it be "squished", anyone else try this?

Thanks,

)p(

yeah it works very good but only if your vidcard supports hardware accellerated rotation of the desktop...for example all gefoece ti's under win 2k/ win xp.

Also because the layout is in most cases designed for 4:3 running it in windowed mode you can just show the middle part...gving a larger playfioeld view then on a horizontal monitor
