Ok i have a set of decent pc speakers i was thinking about using some creative 2.1 speaker system with them 1.5 inch speakers.. but got to thinking about it.. what about using the speakers that are build into the TV moving those up to the normal place and then hooking up the extra PC sub woofer i have to give it a little more bass.. anyways what are somet houghts of doing it this way? i tried to search for TV Speakers but couldnt really find anything..

other thought i has was getting a small car amp (like 20 watts per channel) and using some realistic speakers i have.. and just wiring that up to the PSU on the computer (its a 585 watt pse and i'm running a system that dosnt use 1/2 that =)

bump... any suggestions?

Go for the car-amp option. You can feed it of the PSU and car speakers are way better than anything found in a TV or a 2.1 set. Only hard part is to find a set that looks a bit minimalistic. Car speakers have a lot of bling-bling styling. You can also buy normal DIY speakers, but they often have a narrow spectrum. Car speakers have 2 way drivers in one piece very often and can handle 50-20000Hz, which is quite good. For better performance, try to close the compartment of the speakers. Don't let them fill the whole cab as the sound can make all other stuff shake.
