No need to be sarcastic, I'm sure you're golden too sunshine. Of course it is but, I'm sure this guy is saying ebay sucks right now too being on the receiving end. Although it is his fault for not putting a reserve on it, not sure why you wouldn't  :dunno

We have a local shop in my area that has stuff like this so if you guys don't mind the shipping, I am sure I can get you stuff similar to this.

No, I think he was 100% right to be sarcastic ... stupidity like you suggest is the big reason why eBay is sucking more and more. Fees and Paypal are only signposts on this journey-- stupid behaviour by buyers and sellers is is what is really killing eBay (for coin-op at least).

I have had a couple of instances where people pulled the same kind of --cream-filled twinkie-- crap when their auction weren't fetching what they wanted. And there have been folks who have had to eat my $1.23 bid and were gracious about it. Those folks get my repeat business and more generous bids in the future (and my business outside of eBay).
