Subwoofer, Bass and the affect on components in my cab.

Visitor Q:
Do I have to worry about bass affecting any computer components, marquee lighting or the monitor in my cab? I plan on installing a Logitech Z2300 system (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/speakers_audio/home_pc_speakers/devices/231&cl=us,en#)and it seems to pack some serious bass from what I am reading...

Would I better off installing the NovaMatrix (http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=83&products_id=307) rather than regular florescent bulbs?

Best is to fix the logitech to the bottom and the cab itself solid to the ground. When you use wheels, put them in lock. The better the sub is fastened to the floor, the better it will sound and the lesser it will affect other components. And in non-pc-speaker terms, it is not a subwoofer anyway. More a normal low-range driver.

I plan on having the sub fasten to the bottom of the cab. L-Brackets with a buggy cord overtop of it or something to that effect. I was mainly worry about the components inside the cab more so than the cabinet moving as it will sit directly on the floor.

Whether the sub is a sub or indeed a driver I am sure it will make plenty of bass.

You will be fine, I too have a pretty hefty system in place for sound: http://www.klipsch.com/products/details/promedia-2-1.aspx

Man I tell you, hearing the token sound on Mrs Pacman for the first time made me smile.

NICE!

Hey let me ask you and I touch on this in another thread, do I have vent both the speaker and port when installing this?

Thanks.

ps.  Klipsch is a nice setup, I would get them if I could find them new.
