Ipac mounting question

Well, I've just about completed wiring my controls to my Ipac,   ;D but am not sure of the best method of mounting it (also, I need to mount the encoder card from the TT2 Spinner).  Ideally, I would like to mount both of them to the underside of my CP.

I'm assuming that four screws would go into the four holes that are already in the Ipac, which would then be drilled directly into the underside of the CP.  However, my instinct is telling me that the underside of the Ipac (as well as the TT2 board) should probably not come into direct contact with the CP.  Would I need 4 plastic standoffs for the Ipac?  The TT2 came with 2.  What is the best (and safest) method of doing this?  Thanks  :dunno

We do sell sets of 4 PCB mounting feet but there are several other ways such as using cable ties to secure it to some point or directly screwing to the panel. It does not really matter if the board contacts the panel as long as its not metal.

If you don't have the mounting feet, you can take a ballpoint pen and cut 4 equal sized pieces off of it to use to mount it.  A small saw will work perfectly and it saves you shipping.

Take the ink out of the pen first though.   :)

This is a cheap option that I've used several times.  It works well.

Does it matter that the screws themselves are metal (same goes for the TT2 board)?  Also, if I screw these components to the underside of the panel (directly through the wood) would I have to worry about gravity pulling it down and dislodging it?  Thanks.
